    Good portion sizes and reasonable prices.You will not leave here hungry.I stop here often when traveling through Lockeford.Service is always good and quick.The decor is nothing fancy but everything is clean.

    I'm so sorry, I called a local spot for a country fried steak and biscuits meal for a pickup breakfast. It was a little higher than usual but wasn't worried. Upon arrival they were closed. I didn't understand what had happened and when I double checked the number it was for this beautifully innocent saintly providers of the most scrumdiddlyumpciuos yummy nutritious eats you have ever had! Don't get me started on the menu! I called back and explained the situation and apologized profusely the young lady on the phone sounded so sincere and understanding which I thanked her for. I just wanted to apologize again and say thank you for great customer service and everyone should come by here and get a chicken fried steak and biscuits breakfast... With extra gravy and crispy hash browns. Since I didn't actually have a meal here I would like to submit this picture of my sister's dog just cuz he's the goodest boy ever! Yes he is!

    Coming back from Somerset on Labor Day Monday we decided to stop and have breakfast at Richplate. We've been past it dozens of times and it was 1 of 2 diners open at 7:15 am on a holiday. What a pleasant surprise! We walked in with a local cowboy/rancher that was meeting up with his buddies for coffee and the local gossip. Kaitlyn greeted us, and pointed to the board for the breakfast specials. They have an extensive menu for B-L-D. I had the huevos rancheros and the Hubs had the Texas French toast. Both came out quickly as the diner was starting to fill up. Kaitlyn took everything in stride and attended to everyone without missing a beat! Cheerful, friendly and enthusiastic and we even found out her grandfather has a middle school named after him in San Ramon! The food was delicious and satisfying! A clean, comfortable local place that makes you feel at home. Highly recommend!
